Case Studies
The case studies collected by the National Varroa Mite Management Program aim to share factual, diverse experiences of beekeepers managing Varroa mite. They are anecdotal in nature and not based on formal research but are a true reflection of what Varroa Development Officers and recreational and commercial beekeepers alike have witnessed.
They have been produced to inform beekeepers on what to expect when navigating Varroa mite, however, individuals may not experience the impacts of Varroa mite to the extent discussed.
